1987 BMW K100RS

There are a lot of projects that move in and out of Clyde Place Garage. It has been about a year since I rebuilt the transmission in my Porsche 911 and replaced a fuel pump in the Buell X1. It was time for me to find a new long term project, what would it be? I wanted something that was not as big as a car with a smaller budget to match. I decided to build a cafe (or at least my interpretation of one). I wanted something a little different to work with then the norm. I decided on the BMW K100RS. I have always liked how reliable they are and the shaft drive.

I don’t have a plan, but as I start striping away body work and unnecessary stuff, I’m sure it will come.

The project bike arrives in November of 2014

Lets get her naked and see what we have to work with

The easy stuff is now done
